Some News For Me & the Blog

Hello readers!

It has been a real joy getting to publish writings here every week for the past five months. This weekly rhythm has not only helped to keep me in the Word but has allowed me to stay in the habit of writing. It’s also been encouraging to hear how some of you have enjoyed and benefitted from some of the discussion here. Thank you for the ways you’ve stayed connected over the past few months.

This past Sunday, I was called as Senior Pastor to Mascot Baptist Church in Mascot, TN. Our family is eager to enter a new season of life and ministry and looking forward to all that the Lord will do in our time serving this body.

In an effort to best devote my time and energy to transitioning into this role and serving the body well, I will be taking an indefinite break from weekly posts here, at least for the time being. I may be back in a few weeks, or months. If you stay subscribed, you’ll be the first to know when I’m back!

We would appreciate your prayers in the weeks ahead as we move into this new role with a new church and to a new place. Thank you for reading, and I hope to stay connected with you in other avenues for the time being!
